They have had a lot of time working on this project, since it initiated in 2018, and it looks like Alephium continues to grow with over 20 developers completing over 500 commits in the month to 1 July.
The telegram (8k), discord (10k) and X (38k) members, show Alephium is active within communities and the sentiment is that potential for further growth is there.

Opinion: Alephium's FDV of $2 billion raises questions about its valuation compared to competitors like KASPA, DOT, and ADA. Despite technological innovations, Alephium must prove unique features to justify its growth. Currently appears overvalued as a layer 1, pending further validation of its potential.
