NFTs and Metaverses are making splash in entertainment industry, i have seen scores of underdogs making strides with NFTs in particular. Christina Aguilera, Some of the big names that i could think of include Madonna, Mariah Carey, Steve Aoki, Travis Scott, Justin Bieber, not to mention Snoop Dog who is quite bullish on NFT and working closely with industry builders.
No doubt there is a potential in what Animal Concerts is up to, list of big names and investors are quite admirable, i am firm believer that more and more musicians/artists will be more interested in building community and getting closer to their fans that being tied to corporate obligations and contracts, furthermore, adoption of metaverse and NFT utilities can help generate more capital, thus, metaverse/NFT give the infrastructure and total freedom to make it happen.
I could think of several competitors that Animal Concerts have to compete with, but based on their existing partnerships with Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys and Busta Rhymes, there is a potential to become a unicorn.
Though adoption will take time, and first movers including both, ecosystem developers and artists could diversify their earnings, minimize their dependency on existing legal infrastructure and solely focus on music and creativity. Show Less
