Coti just made a major upgrade to their tech stack to bring full homomorphic encryption (FHE) to their network transaction. The market responded very positively by 134% in last 24 hours.
I'm not sure the market fully understand what this means, but with a fully diluted market cap of $440M I believe it may still be undervalued significantly because FHE can be used to power AI computation on encrypted data. This is groundbreaking when it comes to private data in healthcare, finance where there are legal barrier to any data scientist to compute prediction on highly sensitive data sets. Most companies do not let anyone remote accessing their data, and the work of outside vendors needs to go through highly stringent NDA and onsite-only work schedule.
Did Coti really pull it off? I'm not sure, typically speaking FHE computation are very very slow which has prevented commercial success in web2 or web3 for that matter. If it truly work, I would expected a fully diluted market cap to be above $30B within a few years. Show Less
