Dash

$DASH

Dash has been around for awhile, but it's one of those projects that is stuck in a usability gray area. It's not really good, but it's also not really bad.

On one hand, people are using it. You can see the Dash transactions here: https://www.dash.org/on-chain-metrics. A great feature is that you can also buy Dash and exchange Dash for cash at physical ATM machines: https://www.dash.org/find-an-atm/

But on the other hand, it's not nearly as popular as Bitcoin or Ethereum. According to their website, there are only a handful of businesses that accept Dash.

Dash started as a privacy coin, but they do not claim that anymore. Privacy coins are tough projects to work on because of the regulatory pressures and team privacy considerations.

So I can see why they switched to a non-private model. However, that lumps them in with so many more projects, and frankly, they don't stand out. They are just another "cheaper, faster transactions" project. Show Less
