SociFi is one of my favourite picks in WEB 3, incentivizing content creators in the industry is what we seem to be missing. I applaud the team for trying to disrupt the industry, and yet I never hear of concept - idea maker and how they could empower content creators.
To me it sounded like Upwork/Fiverr where I tell what needs to be done, find a service provider and pay them X for delivering Y according to our agreement.
And yet, despite the conflict of logic, the team has succeeded to get funding.
Successful seed funding: Looking at bakers I could stop asking ICO holder (Listing service/cragislist of its kind) and Blockchain summit event organizers, not sure if this is a unique case or making use of hype?
If the team could showcase how content creators have benefited from anyone`s idea that would be another manifestation of their business model.
I have to admit that Patrick Poirier did a fantastic job of analyzing tokenomics, after reading the $100M valuation at IDO launch while having 25K content creators that equals to $4000 per user was a shocking revelation.
While I like the UX/UI and some of the advisors that I met during conferences in person created a nice impression, the excessively wordy pitch deck, business model and tokenomics caused several red flags in rating this project 2 stars. Show Less
