Galxe

$GAL

Galxe is one of many "quest" platforms that onboard users to sign their wallet and earn XP for different blockchain projects by doing tasks (follows on social media, on-chain transactions, etc). What that XP is worth depends on the quest. Sometimes it's points towards a future airdrop, sometimes it's short-term campaigns to split a prize pool. Sometimes, it's for absolutely nothing: you thought you were farming but you were being farmed.

With airdrop farming having become a thing over the last couple years, there are a multitude of them now. If you're an airdrop farmer, you probably have a Galxe account. And a QuestN, Zealy, and Layer3 account. Maybe even a Intract or Orbler.

They all pretty much operate the same way, so what distinguishes one from another, aside from the projects (some are on more than one platform), is the user interface and experience. Galxe's UX/UI is clunkier and busier than the alternatives, that are smoother, simpler and easier to navigate. I've also found that while all platforms have their share of bugs, Galxe ranks highest and their discord support isn't very helpful. Additionally, Galxe was hacked and users lost $600k (they were eventually made whole). Show Less
