Gateway's goal is to make managing blockchain systems easier for everyone. Igor Mandrigin, Co-Founder and CTO of Gateway.fm, stated "we believe mass adoption will be enabled by private rollups and app-chain development – and we want to be at the forefront of this movement." If this goal is achieved, this can be a huge step in the crypto space towards greater adoption.
As far as I can see (and the team can correct me if I'm wrong because this is a super technical project), Gateway.fm has four main service features.
- Building decentralised RPC solutions that don’t rely on centralised systems like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and possibly Infura
- Helping Web3 projects scale using node service supports ETH, Fantom, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, Lukso, the new Soroban/Stellar network as well as Gnosis and BNB.
- Staking solutions
- Deploying private roll-ups for projects
The Gateway team consists of core developers from Gnosis and Erigon and the project has backing and support from big names players such as Ethereum Foundation, NEAR, Polygon Labs, Lukso, Stellar and 1inch. I think their project is just what's needed in the space right now and will do well. Show Less
