I was between 3 and 4 stars for Kadena.
Pro:
- Website is not good, but gives enough technical detail to show that they have something special. They mention "trustless (no third-party trust needed), decentralized, cross-chain transfers.", which is a pretty big thing, grabbing my attention. There's other interesting stuff in "the complete package" section. But I think you need to know quite a bit about crypto to understand that some of this stuff is very interesting. The rest of the page is mostly about giving out grants.
- They have a unique explorer which shows blocks connected via a mesh. It's a visual way to show how they're different. They also have an experimental 3D view of their network (screenshot attached)
- They have a very good intro video
Con:
- They only have about 50 projects listed in their "ecosystem" tab and most of them are existing exchanges. It would help them to sell their top projects more attractively.
- They don't have a historical usage graph in their explorer, making it difficult to judge their progress.
- They try to create educational videos on their YouTube, but their not great. Very technical language.
In summary, not quite enough to make me wanna dive deeper. This project requires a good tech review. Show Less
