Summary: Project is new but has a lot of potential. I expect this to be a top 50 project in the near future.
Overview:
Fastest open-source, PoW, decentralized, and fully scalable Layer-1 BlockDAG. Solves the trilemma in the usage of digital assets: Security, Scalability, and Decentralization. Currently it's able to handle 400 TPS (transactions per second) and is running at 1 BPS (blocks-per-second). However, there are plans for increasing these numbers. For example, they are aiming to increase the BPS to 32/sec, with visions of 100/sec.
Highlights:
1- BlockDAG - Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG), means no blocks are wasted/orphaned.
2- GhostDAG consensus mechanism, which is more efficient than PHANTOM.
3- Fair launch, no premine, VC, ICO/IDO, or centralized governance.
4- Currently operates at one bps, but DAG Knight upgrade will increase speed to 32 bps. Ultimate goal is 100 bps.
5- Hashing algorithm used is kHeavyHash which is quantum resistant.
6- Tokenomics max supply 28.7B with an emission schedule which halves once per year via smooth monthly reductions by a factor of (1/2)^(1/2). Show Less
