Litecoin, the silver to Bitcoin’s gold?

When it comes to comparing Litecoin's monetary value to metals, I see it as more aligning to copper than silver.

Even its creator, Charlie Lee could not resist the urge to sell most of his own Litecoin back in 2017 at the peak of its all time high, which it has never gotten above again by the way. He was probably thinking how on earth has this lack lustre attempt of Bitcoin got to this price, I need to cash out now while I can. I don't blame him.

Despite its longevity, I am still surprised that Litecoin maintains a position within the top 15 cryptocurrencies after all this time. I believe the continuous emergence of more innovative projects that offer greater benefits to the blockchain ecosystem will inevitably cause Litecoin, once a top 5 coin, to continue gradually descending down the crypto rankings due to Litecoin lacking any unique or superior qualities compared to other existing coins.
