On October 10th, Binance announced the listing of Neutron - a cross-chain smart contract platform built on the Cosmos Hub.
Neutron is a cross-chain smart contract platform built on Cosmos, allowing developers to deploy smart contracts that can interact with each other via the IBC protocol. Additionally, Neutron is the first blockchain to leverage security from Cosmos through Interchain Security, a model that bears similarities to current Layer 2 solutions on Ethereum.

Neutron is a relatively new project with a relatively short development history. However, it's the first project to be secured by Cosmos' Interchain Security technology, which is a highly significant and advanced technology within the Cosmos ecosystem. According to Binance Research, Binance and Coinfund led the Seed Round with 11% of the total $NTRN sold at a price of $0.09 per $NTRN (90m FDV).
