I remember watching an interview with Brian Chesky (Airbnb CEO) where he talks about having 100 most committed clients that love his product versus 1000 average clients that may or may not bring any value to grow/scale the project and the same idea is/can be applied to Orbler...
When I look at Orbler, I have a good feeling that after their rebranding in mid-2023, lots of changes are taking place according to the roadmap. Let me go through some fundamental ones.
Ethos, White Paper, and Story
I am a supporter and believer in minimalism and simplicity. Not only have I enjoyed reading straightforward, easy-to-swallow, and, most importantly, easy-to-digest content, but the story designed along with mission and vision statements is powered by technological applications to show value to startups that are always under/on budget. Unlike other marketing/PR and growth hacking agencies that always charge beyond reality.
Missions and Communities
I love the idea of missions and communities within Orbler's infrastructure. Missions are spaces for creators to maximize the interaction between existing Orbler and startup communities by carrying out a series of tasks and challenges. This is a sort of catalog where one could choose any mission to become part of and contribute. I simply love how easy it is to navigate and join. Check out more at: https://app.orbler.io/missions
Communities are split according to categories, making it easier to navigate and join the communities to be part of (analogous to meetup.com but in WEB 3). Most likely, all the communities were the creators of their missions. To extend the value, they are placed in the "Community" category for future/existing users to join.
Social Media
The only reason why I decided to grant 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of social impact and thought leadership. While I enjoy the activity and partnerships, the soul is missing, as it does in most projects. For a platform like Orbler that has upside potential, I feel like adding/sharing a little more philosophy describing how/why community is the essence of WEB 3 adoption could make a profound impact.
