With all types of communication means being censored in China, after Edward Snowden's revelations, reading Wikileaks, and listening to Julian Assange, I figured there must be a solution, and here it is — Sylo.
Using a decentralized messaging app just like a centralized one with the same or better user experience is a killer idea. Furthermore, they have Sylo Network incentivising dencentralized communications using metaverse(s), Web 3 wallets, DAO/NFTs, Sylo Node is a source to power the network and generate income — Great infrastructure.
And yet, the concept or rather great idea is slightly and badly communicated.
No Why, but What:
Like most projects, Sylo describes what it is doing on its website instead of describing why it matters, how it will make a difference, why we should care, or how it will transform the industry of communication...
Web3 users who are new to the product or have less experience may find it difficult to understand the terminology used on the website, which may make them less inclined to give the product a try.
I would have given it 5 star if team could do some more work on their brand story and included emotional component that is missing. Show Less
