TON has been on my radar since 2017 and from time to time look into their developments and social media, after meeting their team, observing their social networks, current conclusion is following:

Telegram

Branding and digital identity are superb and unquestionably well positioned across social media, and ecosystem of the project creating desired first impression, at least from branding stand point

Posts are very informative, easy read & feel, well structured hyperlinks showing the source of information, maximised engagement with community, very consistent which is a admirable quality to deliver content on that consistency

Engagement of the community thru emojis to express their interest, approval or disapproval is quite interesting where no one has to talk anyone and yet collectively show sentiment is quite remarkable considering the size of the community AKA 500K+ (Comments are available for everyone though)


Unlike telegram Twitter looks like a press room, sharing news or announcing news, itt give community vibes, for the project once associated (or still partially) with telegram could have done better than this

I didn`t get to see the team higherups sharing their stories, insights, journeys, it gives the feeling that the project purely consists of tech teams that do the building and PR teams that do the marketing/events, for example Binance CEO is not only the face of his project, but also makes sure that community is deeply involved with their stories, the same goes for 1inch, higherups of the project are immersed in twitter with their fans, followers and partners

The only thing that makes me glad is the same consistency that the team has on their telegram, but the lack of storytelling, community engagement online and interesting threads on twitter makes me think that these are issues the team has to consider to make some splash in the next bull run Show Less
