WMT is a project that is solving a real problem-connecting close to 3Bn people to internet who never had access to it before. Most of the poor countries in Africa are not connected. Traditional telecom players along with Facebook/Microsoft couldn't succeed as traditional infrastructure model is expensive and Africa doesn't have purchasing power to compensate for that. WMT is creating a cheaper option to bring them online.
WMT is using Cardano blockchain to decentralize the technological infrastructure needed for WMT as internet provider. Using blockchain they are able to remove many intermediaries and remove inefficiency that increases cost to the traditional telecom businesses.
Once they provide internet, WMT will also work as digital identity and banking access to billions of people through their mobile app.
This is one of the great projects to keep an eye on in Cardano ecosystem. Show Less
