Yas Digital WEB 3 looks not only solid but also one addressing one of the compelling idea - insretech.
This project deserves 3 stars after I have carefully looked at their team, solution, traction, background and progress.
Concept:
YAS is a blockchain based insurtech company.
Offering on-demand microinsurance and changing how people buy and claim insurance, essentially they seem or are bridging traditional insurance with WEB 3, but there are several gaps that i could not find answers for
Deck:
I really liked the deck, lots of thinking and design work was put into it, showing how they are going to be taking on the industry.
Problem/Solution:
When checking website it spoke about traditional insurance VS WEB 3, one that led to confusion, deck and website didnt seem to have consistent communication, at least from my point of view.
Team:
One thing that I liked about the team is that they do have a strong entrepreneurial background, they have been in business for a long time, together and yet I was looking for someone within a team from the insurance industry, be it in the form of advisory or higher up.
Questions that i would like to address:
How can Yas insure DeFi, Cyber security in WEB 3, and much more.
I hope they will work on research paper and how they are going to be tackling bad actors in WEB 3 in the face of recent fall outs and continuous hacks that scare newbies as well as experienced crypto natives users. Show Less
