I'm gonna frontrun the feed and revisit Akash because I have a feeling we'll all be talking about it again soon. No surprise looking at older reviews that Blueseriph has had her eye on this one for awhile, too (just like Injective), which is a good sign.
AKT has run +1100% in 2023, with a run-up starting in August from .6 to 1.6. This was around the same time that Render had already run up and was cooling off, before BitTensor started gaining traction. The AI narrative was lingering and AKT arrived to the party. As we know, decentralized AI and decentralized file storage are parallel narratives.
If you think open-source decentralized cloud computing platforms that can ship are highly valued now, imagine their value in a future where they're competing with and addressing the problems with centralized platforms. That alone makes AKT a valuable hodl.
Even more, Akash is part of the currently booming Cosmos ecosystem, which positions it squarely in the eyes of degens and airdrop hunters ready to deploy liquidity to this chain. There are so many intersecting narratives that play in AKT's favor. I have no qualms letting you all know that I've staked my bag and won't be touching it for a long time. Show Less
