Greg Osuri has been the CEO at Akash for 8.5 years. He has around 4.5k followers on LinkedIn as well as some very glowing endorsements there. One person even wrote, "if I need to describe him in one word, that would be PERFECT." Prior to Akash he was the Founder of AngelHack, under which he created hackathon.io, a developer ecosystem with over 50k developers in 50 cities. He was also the Lead Architect at Merkatron and Founder, VP Engineering at Gridbag, a San Francisco start-up company.
Cheng Wang is the Chief Financial Officer for Akash. Cheng started his in traditional financial organisations like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Merrill Lynch. He was later Vice President at Royal Bank of Scotland, focusing on debt and valuations. After 8 years at financial institutions, he became more of an entrepreneur, founding multiple retail businesses before relocating to California to serve as CFO for WRKSHP, a San Francisco gaming startup. He then worked for Refereum, along with COO Boz Memzalji, where he became interested in blockchain technology and decentralized cloud storage.
