Chainlink's CCIP currently supports a modest number of chains (only 7), yet it's gaining traction from big Web2 businesses. Its capability to connect both EVM and non-EVM chains is an advantageous feature, which makes me more bullish on Chainlink's potential to integrate with numerous additional blockchains in the future to expand even further collaborations.

The safety of a consensus system depends on its specific use case. In my view, Chainlink is a solid choice for oracles, providing reliability in various scenarios. While it generally performs well, there's a concern that Chainlink could become a potential single point of failure. Looking ahead, as decentralized infrastructure becomes more widely adopted, there's a likelihood of large-scale attacks targeting vulnerabilities in the consensus system.

Given the crucial role of oracles in various applications, it's expected that security measures will be strengthened to stop potential threats as attacks on decentralized systems become more common.

Overall, I feel that Chainlink is a very reliable interoperability provider in the space today. Bonus - given the amount of people they are hiring at the moment makes me even more bullish! Show Less
