Conflux (CFX) is a cryptocurrency launched in 2020 which means that by now it should have gained enough traction to allow us to have some hope that the world is bigger than the painfully expensive and slow chains around our necks (BitCoin and Ethereum).
The China across borders aspect (as first detail by iiJJGii) makes Conflux even stronger given the huge effort which China is putting into AI development.
Reviewing the adoption and well, the list seems endless. Conflux is spoken of frequently but in my world is still not a go to solution, perhaps due to the consistent hope in Etherium and the reluctance of developers to learn new things when they keep telling the world how difficult everything is and how hard their jobs are (only joking). But, having been given this opportunity again, I will personally get into Conflux at the blockchain level and return with an update if I find anything interesting to share.
What I did notice from their Grant section is they are promoting development tools and games only. Which is interesting in some way, but also interesting that they deem games as probably a very strong method to give utility to their own CFX coin.
