There isn't anything particularly noteworthy about the technology features of Cronos (Crypto.com) that I can mention. Yes, as a global exchange with its ecosystem, they have a big trading platform, non-custodial wallet, crypto payment card, and other products. It would be absolutely innovative in 2018-2019 to make all such products within one ecosystem, but not in 2023.
The Cronos Network itself, a blockchain built with the IBC protocol and interoperable with both Ethereum and Cosmos ecosystems, fails to stand out from its many competitors. Attracting users from other large ecosystems will be a difficult task, especially given the absence of popular protocols on the chain(2nd pic).
Looking at Cronos as a raw technology, it is evident that the blockchain is well-designed and has useful features. However, since technology >= innovation and outstanding use cases, their solution currently falls short of 5 stars.
Will be keeping an eye on Cronos' roadmap and new releases to see if they can deliver more unique features in the future. Show Less
