Great idea, terrible execution.
I love the fact that they are trying to support farmers and allow people to get their food locally. This will be VERY important in the years to come.
But as I read through the whitepaper, it's clear that this is just another type of control mechanism and it actually centralizes things, it doesn't decentralize food distribution.
In the graphic below, the food still has to go through the supply chain. This is the BIGGEST problem with food distribution! It has to be more local and NOT go through a supply chain. As long as you're using shipping, there will always be middlemen, which will decrease the profit of the farmers and increase the price to buyers. The model has to be more direct to consumer sales.
On top of that, their roadmap shows the creation of a metaverse. What does that have to do with food distribution?
This all sounds very fishy. Show Less
