They target 2-4% APY, unfortunately that's below inflation rate, so I was hoping to see better returns, but at least it's not 0%. I am working on a similar solution because I think it's critical for web3 companies to actively manage their treasury in a sustainable manner. Typically in the tech world, companies raise for 12 to 18 months of runway before they need to raise again. In the web3 world it's not uncommon for project to raise only once to sustain their entire lifespan, which means it's critical not to keep money in a bank account in US currency that suffer devaluation every year.
They are targeting a maximum of 99 clients that will allocate a maximum of $50M each, I was hoping to see this project being more open to the masses, but I understand the appeal to target only large institutional clients, but in this case why build on a web3 architecture, may as well keep to traditional finance.
They rely on low risk low return investments which mean they will need very large AUM to be worth it. Looks like they consider metaverse a worthwhile investment market, I think that's a huge mistake unless if it's to short.
Team has expertise in this domain and are credible.
Solid project for a real problem, not sure why they are pitching to a startup competition though since they will need to get ~$1B in the protocol to be worth their time, they need to go after very large institutional clients which may be hard in the current regulatory climate. Show Less
