I've had the pleasure of being a part of the Gala community for quite some time now, and I must say, it's been an incredible experience thus far. The Gala community is a vibrant and passionate group of individuals who share a common enthusiasm for gaming, NFTs, and blockchain technology. As per the official website, the platform currently has more than 1.3 million monthly active users. More than 16,000 player-run nodes power the community. The entire ecosystem consists of crypto and gaming enthusiasts who are dedicated to building a platform that is true to its roots and changes the gaming industry.
In my opinion, the Gala team has done an exceptional job in creating spaces for community interaction. From active Discord channels (with a high userbase of 167k members) to regular AMA sessions, they ensure that community members are heard and have the opportunity to directly engage with the team. I strongly believe that this level of transparency and accessibility builds trust and strengthens the bond between the project and its supporters.
To add on, it is great to see Gala stepping up their efforts to further engage the community through real-life interactions - as seen from the Galaverse event in June 2022. There were freebies given out to guests and exclusive discount drop opportunities for attendees. Besides, the chance for the community to spend some time with the team was a valuable experience I would say. Gala definitely deserves a 5-star rating from me!
