With a focus on play to earn, watch to earn and listen to earn Gala's attempt to revolutionise the entertainment industry has begun. (Personally I don't think the world isn't ready for this type of technology from my previous experience in play to earn, however Gala seem to be doing it in an interesting way!)

Now getting to the interesting part... Gala sells nodes. Owning a Gala Node allows owners to participate in the platform's governance and help maintain the stability and security of the network whilst earning rewards.
Node operators can earn points in the daily distribution and convert them into Gala coins, NFTs, game items and TownStar coins which are directly deposited into a treasure chest. As of this second there is 33,374 nodes online (https://app.gala.games/nodes)
In my opinion, I still think the world isn't ready for this type of technology and rewards system for mass adoption. You wouldn't find any AAA games here, they all look like modernised 1997-2000 games. However, for those in the web3 space who are creative and want to branch out to a decentralised platform and earn some rewards, I think Gala is a great platform to step into.
