Layer Zero 

The crypto ecosystem has shifted in recent times from the belief that it needs a dominant, all encompassing blockchain to a more fragmented landscape with various blockchains offering unique value propositions. This evolution has highlighted the need for interoperability.

LayerZero (LZR) is an omnichain interoperability protocol aiming to effortlessly connect blockchains. It functions as a messaging protocol between blockchains, providing secure and cost-effective communications through on-chain assurances and off-chain entities such as Oracles and Relayers. This architecture offers both security and favourable threat models.

LayerZero is starting to attract attention in the space with the project boasting big investment backers, a growing ecosystem, and the anticipation of a potential airdrop. This this a project I will definitely be keeping my eye on for the future to see if its team can deliver on a project of this technical complexity. Show Less
