Sorry, I'm going to be brutally honest: Litecoin didn't solve any problem.

They claim to be the Currency of the Internet, but with their current transaction speed of 56 per second, it is not even capable of running a large supermarket, let alone something like Amazon or the entire global digital universe.

With a block time of 2.5 minutes, it's not usable as a payment system. Our society isn't waiting for a system with less functionality than their current options, so don't expect mass adoption from this one.

For me, it's a bad copy of a good project called Bitcoin. The development time was only 5 days, and its code comes from a fork of Bitcoin with some small tweaks. Voila! A new cryptocurrency was born. I never understood why this cryptocurrency stayed alive, as I don't see a solution in it.

The lack of vision or comparison with other blockchains on their website that claim to be the same, the Silver against Bitcoin's Gold, makes me think they don't fare very well against the others in this space. Show Less
