I'm not completely sold that ring signatures are going to keep transactions private, but I like the fact that the Monero community is always looking for ways to make the currency better.
Their next updates called Seraphis & Jamtis should make the currency more usable and more private. They also have a couple of exchange projects in the pipeline that will make it easier to transact without third party approvals. Atomic swaps with Ethereum will be huge.
As it stands, I feel that their tech is still second to ARRR, but the adoption of XMR is much greater. Both projects have their benefits, so if you're interested in private currencies, it pays to watch both. Show Less
