Ahoy ! As much as i'm fond of privacy, we gotta have a truesight to sail the torment. Overall, this is a great tech privacy project with a closed community? ARRR! That is what Pirate Chain seems to be. Born in 2018 with a fairlaunch, it sailed the crypto shores with no pre-mints nor token allocations to team and devs, bringing the battle for ARR a true battleship war.

Security is great: Using the delayed Proof of Work algorithm offered by Komodo (KMD), it indexes onto KMD and LTC chains implying in a 51% attack financially inviable.

One feature i loved is the PiratePay, a decentralized, open source payment gateway. It allow merchants and retailers to accept Pirate Chain ($ARRR) on websites and stores. Also, the Merchant Directory is a great feature, but there are no more than 300 merchants worldwide.

The future for Pirate chain may be great, but with a small and non-building community, it'll rely on luck and maybe in how Govs will enforce with CBDC, making much of crypto users walk the plank to jump in the pirate booty.
