Stratos is defined as a decentralised data mesh for the blockchain. It combines three features - computation, storage and network traffic. It is unique in that it uses Proof-of -Traffic algorithms to reward participants and contributers.
While decentralised storage might sound boring, it is necessary for setting the foundations of a proper Web3 infrastructure. Web3 storage gives users freedom over their own content and avoids Web2 points of failure such as lack of anonymity and vulnerability to hacks.
At the helm is Bin Zhu, former founder of MindGeek (and with previous connections to Pornhub although you won't find that on his online bio). With mainnet imminent and the combined talents of Bin and his team, I forsee a bright future for this project. Show Less
