Small step to huge progress in decentralization of crypto TON Wallet becomes an encrypted messenger.

In The Open Network, when sending Toncoin, Jettons, or NFTs, it has always been possible to add a text comment to the transaction for the recipient. For example, "For coffee" or "Gift! Happy Birthday!".

Now, it is claimed that in the new update, people will have the ability to encrypt the text when sending it, and only the sender and recipient will be able to see it.

The new feature is already available in standard web and desktop wallets (Windows, MacOS, Linux), as well as in MyTonWallet. Encryption of messages will be added in one of the upcoming updates to the TON mobile wallet and Tonkeeper wallet.

Here's what they point out:

▪️ The recipient's wallet must have at least one outgoing transaction.

▪️ Please do not encrypt comments when depositing to exchanges or payment services Show Less
