UniLayer sounds pretty cool, but the LightPaper reads like a hodgepodge of ideas, and the tokenomics are scary!
“UniLayer is a one-of-a-kind interoperability platform and L1 blockchain that enables transfers of data and assets across all blockchains”
Ok, fair enough more than a few blockchains that would describe themselves this way, so let's move on. Here is where things feel like a game of Crypto Bingo, where technology and names are just dropped.
“The UniLayer is built on the Bitcoin-based blockchain with gas-efficient DPOS consensus.”
What does “Bitcoin-based blockchain” even mean? The DPOS part is self-explanatory but feels like throwing out jargon again.
Then we have “…smart contracts are the latest EVM from the Ethereum Foundation,” for privacy, they apparently just copied ZeroCash Protocol ZK-Snark Implementation.
I only quickly read the LP and just skimmed the WP.
I have never seen a WP for a Layer 1 with ZERO information on the performance.
Where is the performance data?
What if this L1 is slow? Big Problem!
Also, the tokenomics distributions are scary bad. 30% to Investors 30% to Team & Advisors 20% to Eco Development (controlled by the team) 20% to LP Show Less
