What I admire most about Uniswap is its user-friendliness. It's incredibly easy to navigate, making it accessible even for beginners. Uniswap's status as one of the leading DEXs is well-deserved, but I do have a significant complaint. - It is not related to the high gas fees (which I have spent thousands of dollars on) as those are gradually being addressed with the intro of various L2 solutions.

My biggest complaint revolves around the $UNI token. In my view, this token doesn't offer much value to its holders and is arguably almost worthless. Put it this way, the $UNI token currently doesn't capture any portion of the 0.3% trading fee, as this entire fee goes to liquidity providers. This setup strongly favours LPs who hold real, valuable tokens, unlike $UNI holders.

Unless there are changes to $UNI's tokenomics in the future, I believe there's little incentive to hold it. While I genuinely appreciate the Uniswap platform and regard it highly as a DEX, my assessment of the $UNI token is much less favourable. If I were to rate it, I'd give Uniswap a 5* rating for its platform but only 1* for the $UNI token. This results in an overall rating of 3* in my opinion. Show Less
