If you look at the project’s road map the team have constantly ticked off their aims of what they have set themselves out to achieve and they have lots more realistic and timely aims set out for the future which I expect them to do the same with.

The project has also recruited a lot of new team members throughout 2022 in order to drive the project forward and take it to its next level after a bit of a slump. I believe this was a good decision to have been taken from its leaders to breed some new refreshing energy and ideas into the project.

The biggest setback Unlock faced happened in November 2021 when the CEO’s wallet got hacked and then those tokens got dumped on the market which caused the token to drop over 60% in a day. I think this lost the project a lot of trust and credibility and it is still working to claw some of this back.

Most importantly as we can see from the project’s activity graph below, across all chains memberships which are minted and locks which have been deployed have been steadily increasing since 2022, however active locks peak in December 2022 which correlates to the top of the crypto market being put in. But even though active locks has been on the decline ever since it has not fallen as sharply as the crypto market has which shows some relative strength to the bear market we have been facing for over a year.

As of right now there is a total of 6313 locks deployed, 311,196 keys sold and 185 active locks.

While this represents consistent progress from the project in terms of its adoption, UDT is still nowhere near what it needs to be in order to achieve the projects goal to empower creators across the globe. I do not currently know of many huge influential names which are currently using UDT to monetize their content. This needs to change in order to attract a wider adoption of its technology. Show Less
