VeChain hit the scene in 2017 via Crowdsale with 41% of the Circ sold at an avg price of $0.00072
I got exposed early 2019 when the project was still under $0.01, and for the next 2 years it stayed sideways under $0.02 (nothing exciting except the Crowdsale who were up 15x to 30x.) In 2021 this project got some legs and ran to $0.28 ATH (almost 400x), since then it has come back down under $0.02 (-93%).
I share this to emphasize one point. Lots of investors still holding profitable.
I think VeChain was a bit too early to market but now are poised to be very disruptive.
They have been “In preparation for the Web3 era in which digital and physical worlds merge to create a phygital universe”
I love that word “phygital”
Their L1 is striving to lead the sustainability revolution with a low-carbon, highly scalable infrastructure powered by a new Proof of Authority consensus. This is 101 authority nodes that use about 0.04% of the energy of other L1. The whole network “is equivalent to almost one gasoline-powered passenger vehicle driven for one year”
Since mainnet launch in 2018 they have been 100% online with ZERO outages, and they have over 2.1M active wallets!
