I listened to their latest AMA on 6 June 2023 with Clive Bennett, the CEO of Worlds Beyond. He is also the founder of Fred Bear games, where they established over 30 more titles and received over 20 awards. So a strong CEO behind Worlds Beyond. My start on the website was horrible, though on the phone to begin with, so I had to switch over to the laptop.
At first, I was like, how did you partner up with Playstation and Nintendo? But it came to be that previously they made 3rd party games as well.
- their track record has over 10 million downloads and revenues
- they try to win the market in the web 3 space
- 35 members in the team, the same core team from the last years (grew over 10)
They created a platform for creators to kind of create a host and then monetize if they wish gaming or non-gaming experiences. Worlds Beyond's building the infrastructure, a game builder-portals and they're providing the tools.
I feel they have what it takes, as there are already some games developed, yet the Sui network might work against them as it needs more time for more widespread acceptance for development. Sui is good though because of the low latency and scalability. Show Less
