Dtube is supposed to be a decentralized video sharing platform that cares about free speech. But there are a few big flaws with how they actually operate.

You cannot delete videos. A platform that cares about free speech and privacy should allow this.

They do censor videos. They appear blurred out until you put your mouse over them.

The platform is really slow. Sometimes the videos from a channel don't load, so it seems like the channel has no videos.

This project is officially dead. In the last couple of months, they had switched from d.tube to dtube.app to https://dtube.luminade.fun. None of these sites work 100%.

I'm not sure what's going on, but it's not a good sign. The use of that last weird URL is the nail in the coffin.

The only way to withdraw DTC is to use the .app site.

It's time to exit before it goes away completely.

Here's how to do it...

Create a Dtube account and deposit Dtube to your account.
Take some time to accumulate some VP (voting power).
Post a video from YouTube and use ALL of your VP every time you post a video.
When you post a video, you get more Dtube, which you can claim in a few days.
Claim your Dtube and repeat the process.
Cash out when the price of Dtube spikes.

The more Dtube you add to your account initially, the faster you make money. Obviously, there is risk to depositing too much because the platform could go down. So if you want to do this, be sure to balance risk vs potential reward.
