To be honest, how many more Layer 1s do we need? Alterna claims to provide high security, lightning-fast transactions and cheap gas fees. It sounds like just like any other L1 blockchain project, and they have competitors that are way more established in the space that have way stronger backings.

There does not seem to be any innovation coming from the project, as compared to something recent like Sui, which does objects as classifications. I wouldn't be surprised if the base code is something similar to Solana or Ethereum - simply copying and pasting.

I am giving this project 1 star, as I feel like it is a "build-as-we-go" kind of product. Many Layer 1s go through extensive periods of buildup and testing in testnet for over 6 months, before eventually launching their mainnet, and then launching a token. However Alterna seems to be looking to push evetything at once, followed by make changes after. Show Less
