Archway was born with a mission to build a blockchain system that enables developers to capture the value they create for the network. When developers build Dapps to expand the Archway ecosystem, they will receive a percentage of network fees, inflation, and premium rewards. Value Capture Engine Mechanism for Developers:
- The Value Capture Engine incentivizes developer contributions to the Archway ecosystem by allowing them to earn transaction fees and platform inflation proportional to their contributions to the network's economy.
- Most other blockchain networks only reward validators or miners when they confirm network operation transactions. However, developers are also a crucial part of blockchain ecosystem development but do not receive as much value. Therefore, Archway will allocate its native token, $ARCH, to Dapps based on the number of Dapp users they can bring to the network.
Inflation:
- Archway's inflation rate will follow the model of the Cosmos Hub, with the total supply increasing from 7% to 20% annually, depending on the percentage of tokens staked on the network. Deflation will be sent directly to Dapps. Initially, 25% will be allocated to Dapps, with the remaining 75% going to network validators. However, this ratio is not fixed and will be adjusted through network governance in the future.
- For example, Dapps may receive an allocation of inflation corresponding to the amount of gas fees generated by that Dapp. For instance, a Dapp that accounts for 10% of the total gas generated on the network will have the right to receive 10% of the total inflation pool. Show Less
