In a very competitive and almost saturated L1 market what is Fantom’s main feature that distinguishes itself from its competitors?

I would say it is its consensus mechanism, Opera. The Opera network’s DAG-based consensus mechanism is a key differentiator and has enabled the system to handle transactions at incredibly high speeds while keeping costs low. This addresses two critical aspects of the well-known blockchain trilemma.

The project is also supported by a strong team who definitely have the capability to tackle the third trilemma of decentralization. However they currently face a big challenge in this area, as the high entry barrier for nodes demands the staking of 500,000 FTM, equivalent to approximately $100,000 at its current value, which seem prohibitive and adds a massive centralization aspect.

Overall FTM is still developing but it already has 200+ dApps in its ecosystem. The network has shown its ability to process transactions securely and quickly therefore making it a valuable network to both its users and developers, so when I look at its current price relative to its ATH I would currently say it is undervalued in my opinion.
