Numeraire is a 6 years old project that foster competition with worldwide traders/data scientists to beat the stock market and each other! (Resembles Cyrator to Analysts, isn't it? <3 ) #Idea 5/5 How to connect data scientists worldwide to a competition? As it's harder to make it in Web2, these interesting mechanics and goals benefits using blockchain. How? Numerai gathers a curated BIG data and standardize it (image1). The data scientists runs their models and the most profitable strategies get paid with the bad model stakers being slashed. #Tokenomics 4/5 To me, it would only be better if the token was a stablecoin, reducing its complexity .. but as it makes people entering while the project is young, giving traction. Other point of view on it, is that Numeraire went through TWO bearmarkets and keeps increasing in volume traded, while its token NMR keeps its 2018s price floor.(image2) The players have to stake it’s tokens to enter the competition and the winners (on the leaderboard - image 3) acquire tokens from the slashed faulty predictive models.
