While it is not so easy to do research on the team behind Scallop, some information can be obtained by following the trail from the website to Twitter to Linktree to LinkedIn. It would probably be better if the link from the website was to LinkedIn instead of Twitter if they want to be taken seriously be investors and partners.

Doing a bit of digging, I found the profile for Kriss Lai, the founder of Scallop. He began as a Full Stack Developer in 2017 with All-win Information Development Co., Ltd where he worked for a little over 3 years. Afterwards he was a Security Engineer with Hlwtech Technology for a year and a half. He established Scallop on Solana in early 2021, and later expanded it to the Sui network in 2022. He was also an ETH miner. With over 6 years of Web3 dev experience, on both the builder and security side, he would be well placed to run the project from a tech perspective. However, it is not clear how much leadership experience, if any, he has had. Kriss currently has 790 followers on Twitter (date of writing 6 July 2023) and 277 LinkedIn connections. https://www.linkedin.com/in/djchrisssssss/

Donnie Chen is the other co-founder of Scallop. He started out as a Full-stack Developer (Engineering department supervisor) with All-win Information Development Co., Ltd. where her worked from July 2017-Mar 2021. He then worked as a freelance Software Engineer or 2 and half years and started working at Scallop since April 2021. He has 43 Twitter followers and 42 on LinkedIn. https://www.linkedin.com/in/mr-donor/

Ann is the COO of Scallop and states she is the Head of Partnership at Unizen, but I can find no more information about her. Nor can I find out more about Nathan (Tech Lead) or Shawn (also Tech?) who are listed as part of the core team.

The team generally seem to have good Web3 technical knowledge, but whether they have the skills to market the product and help it to stand out in a very crowded marketplace is yet to be seen. They are young, have small numbers of social media and LinkedIn followers and should really make their experience more widely known to attract more interest in their project. Show Less
