StarkNet is a technology that enhances Ethereum by providing unlimited computational capacity for DApps through off-chain computations. They improve: scalability, speed, and efficiency while maintaining compatibility with the Ethereum network.

Their technique functions as a secondary network built on top of Ethereum. It aims to provide unlimited computational capacity to dApps while maintaining the security and compatibility of the Ethereum network.

StarkNet utilizes a cryptographic proof system called STARK (Zero-Knowledge Succinct Transparent Argument of Knowledge). This system ensures the accuracy performed on the blockchain. By moving computations off-chain, StarkNet reduces the load on the Ethereum network and enables faster and more efficient processing.

The core components of StarkNet are the Users, Operators, and Developers. Users interact with decentralized applications on StarkNet, Operators provide computing resources for transaction sequencing and proof generation, and Developers build software for the network's infrastructure and applications.

It has the programming language Cairo, which allows for the deployment and expansion of various business logic on the network. It supports smart contracts and offers a high level of scalability and security.

I think this sums up most of it without going into too much detail. So far their performance has been great, and developers seem to find their network very supportive, as many dApps have been build on it, with great up-and-running times and performance. Together with their roadmap for 2023 which is set for improving and setting new records on the performance, I can only give five stars, also for the futureproof side of their technology.

Revised: As the mainnet became congested, there are signs of excessive usage, such as delayed and prolonged transactions. I attribute this issue to the alpha stage and the project's growing popularity. However, I remain optimistic that these problems will be resolved in due course.

The significant popularity of the project is evident in the images shared by @Blockbuster in their micro review. Although I cannot give a full 5-star rating due to the transaction delays, it is understandable considering the project is still in its alpha stage. Show Less
