Building a sustaining community on Discord and Telegram is a real grinding work and least recognized, very few people not only in WEB 3, but also in WEB 2 understand or feel the pain, sleepless nights, cultural differences and developing structure while keeping an eye to impatient users, especially in early stages of any project.
Structure:
Stepn developed a well detailed structure simplifying user journey and onboarding administrators to manage inquiries, banning bad or so called bad actors and constantly educating/assisting users to resolve their issues.
Active and Engaged Moderation in both platforms look legit and very vibrant, however the lack of AMAs, automated FAQ (Bot integration) turn chat into slight mess that needs more moderation, and yet over 100K + people are following chat.
One of the perks that i liked is for any inquirty regardless it`s nature there is a support team that reaches out which is a good stuff, and yet, using telegram bot so many improvements can be done.
I give 4 stars for the great initial bootstrapping work that was conducted for developing community and scores of other groups to support community in their native languages, however, more infrastructural changes are required if stepn wants to keep its project alive upon which it depends, dearly!
