The Unfettered is a story-based free-to-play, play-to-earn blockchain metaverse game where players can own NFT items and earn $SOULS tokens. With its action RPG souls-like genre, the game offers players a exhilarating journey through a dark fantasy world which has stunning graphics and an engaging storyline. Already in 4 lines of writing I want to try it! The game is developed on Unreal Engine 4, and it will be migrated to Unreal Engine 5 in the future.
In the gameplay itself players will utilize the character’s builds and personal gameplay skills to progress through the story mode, collecting souls by defeating enemies. As gamers navigate their way through different areas of 'The Realm', players will have the opportunity to collect souls by defeating enemies and exploring the surroundings. These souls can be converted into an in-game token which is called $SOULS when players reach specific checkpoints on the map.
One of the standout features of The Unfettered is the inclusion of NFTs that can be obtained within the game. These NFTs include weapons and armour as well as granting players true ownership of their virtual assets. This ownership allows players to enhance their character's abilities or engage in trading and selling these NFTs on a secondary market.
In addition to the game’s story mode, The Unfettered has planned the integration of two exciting systems called ‘The Arena’ and ‘The Co-Op’ during Phases 2 and 3 of the game's development. I really like this as most truly successful games now days provide players with competitive gaming environments where you can challenge other online gamers in real time.
