The CEO and CTO have both co-founded Awkay Studios which seems to be a studio that develops blockchain based games, however The Unfettered is the only game they have worked on prior to this studio being set up over 2 years ago. The website for Awkay Studio https://awkaytech.io/ is very limited and doesn’t reveal much if anything about them which is a bit worrying.
The Co-Founder / CEO, Anil Evci has no major relevant industry experience prior to this project which is a bit concerning and even more so concerning a big lack of previous leadership roles he has had. His background has varied a lot from being a writer to an engineer to operations / project manager.

The Co founder / CTO, Haris Usaname Sevinc’s background is more relevant having worked as a game developer for two previous studios and then as freelance. However he has less than 5 years developer experience which is a bit of a red flag to me for a CTO. To be a valid CTO in my eyes, personally you need to be looking at 10 years plus industry experience.

The Unfettered’s team is a reasonably sized team and seems to have all the right roles one would need to execute a fun, well thought out game from scriptwriters to concept artists etc but one thing that strikes me with this team when I look through other team members outside of the immediate leadership in roles such as the lead blockchain developer and marketing lead for example is the lack of total experience these guys have in their fields and specifically in the blockchain/gaming space.
On a side note and worth nothing the project has some solid partnerships and experienced financial backers by their sides especially in the industry field they are trying to conquer. The team will need to lean heavily into this experience from the alliances they have made if they want to prove themselves and make this project become a prolonged success. Show Less
