I am paying close attention to the Botanix Protocol as I believe it could be a groundbreaking project which harmonizes the realms of Bitcoin and Ethereum. It does this by heralding a second-layer Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) on top of the Bitcoin network. Botanix Labs' innovative idea, in theory should be able to harness the intrinsic strengths of both ecosystems, which could present some compelling future avenues for developers and users alike. At its core lies the 'Spiderchain', a technological marvel engineered to streamline second-layer blockchain operations.

My beliefs are that if this project can deliver on its promises then it has the capability to catalyze the evolution of DeFi and a diverse range of dApps much futher, via enabling seamless interaction within the Ethereum and Bitcoin ecosystems. Furthermore, the protocol's heightened scalability and cost-efficiency have the potential to alleviate congestion on the Ethereum network, while concurrently unlocking novel avenues for Bitcoin-centric smart contracts and tokenized assets, effectively mitigating the current shortcomings that both of the giant networks face.

The protocol has not launched yet and is still in its testnet stages, however there are rumours of a potential future airdrop. Go onto Zealy and do the tasks associated with the project on there and I think this will be the way to secure that potential airdrop. Touchwood because i think it will be a juicy one.
