Initial token supply was 20 million $CRU tokens. And will decrease each year. During the first year, 5 million $CRU tokens will be added to the supply, and from the second year onwards, the inflation rate will decrease by 12% each year. The ultimate goal is to reach an inflation rate of 2.8%, which is expected to occur in approximately 12 years.
This decreasing rate of inflation, combined with the use cases for $CRU within the Crust Network ecosystem,makes the token to be scarce. The unique tokenomics makes it possilbe for CRU to be able to appreciate in value. Even though the token is trading at less than $1 , there was a time the token was trading at $179.
