There are going to be a few select metaverses that win the metaverse battle. Like how Instagram and TikTok are winning in the social media space.
Some people are going to shop in the metaverse and the next Amazon will come from that world. That's for sure.
But the question is, could Highstreet be the project to take us into that dystopian future?
I don't feel like it is.
The graphics are too cartoony and I don't feel like there's enough appeal for it to catch on. In addition, the fact that it's a game might lead people to not take it seriously. I get it, there has to be something novel, and getting people in via a game mechanism is novel. But this project doesn't scream cool, it seems like it's trying to be too many things without having a core identity. Show Less
