This appears to be one of the most ambitious gaming + metaverse projects to date. The stunning concept art, cinematic trailers, and screenshots showcase a visually captivating world, fuelled by the power of Unreal Engine 5.
Looking through the 38 page economic paper, it is clear this is a very advanced tokenomics system, but just as you don't need to be a mechanic to drive a car players won't need to understand this to enjoy the game.
The game will have a dual token economy, with $ATLAS serving as a medium of exchange + $POLIS as a governance token. The CEO/co-founder, Michael Wagner, brings a unique background in traditional finance and holds a CFA charter, which explains the sophistication of the tokenomics design. Even though unusual for a gaming CEO to come from this kind of background, his expertise and experience from this position him well to create an entirely new economic system within a digital universe.
